Light salad "Dnestr" with mayonnaise in a new way: what will make the taste bright

The salad "Dnestr" is an elementary salad with cabbage - young or Chinese cabbage - and mayonnaise. The dish is necessarily supplemented with cooked sausage or ham, as well as corn or peas. The salad is made from very simple and budget ingredients and is suitable for the holiday table.

The food blogger Julia Mikulich(yuliia_mikulich) on her Instagram page shared a recipe for a light salad "Dniester" without cabbage, which she suggests replacing with lettuce leaves.

Ingredients:

• lettuce leaves - 130 g
• canned peas - 1 b

• cucumbers - 170 g
• sausage - 300 g
• onion - 1 pc
• mayonnaise
• salt, pepper

Method of preparation:

1. Slice the lettuce randomly.

2. Drain the liquid from the peas.

3. Cut the cucumbers, sausage and onion into julienne strips.

4. Mix all ingredients, add salt and pepper, season with mayonnaise and mix.
