How to bake delicious cabbage in the oven: it will be very juicy and crispy

Cabbage is a budget-friendly, versatile and always available vegetable that can be used to make salads, pancakes, add to borscht and even bake deliciously in the oven.

Foodblogger Alexey Kruchkov(kruchkov.food) shared a recipe for baked cabbage steaks with spices on his Instagram page. Unlike stewed cabbage, this method of cooking makes the cabbage very juicy and crispy, and it goes with meat, fish and any side dish.

Ingredients:

• cabbage
• spices: salt, pepper, oregano, basil, rosemary
• olive oil

Method of preparation:

1. Cut the cabbage into steaks 2 centimeters thick. Place on a baking sheet lined with parchment.

2. Mix the oil and spices. Rub each steak with this mixture.

3. Bake in the oven at 180 degrees for 30 minutes.
