Cold snap and snow to hit Ukraine: weather forecaster names dates for sharp weather change

Cold snap expected in Ukraine from March 28

Natalka Didenko, a national weather forecaster, said that a cold snap could break into Ukraine at the end of March 2023. Even snow is expected in some regions of the country.

She wrote about this on her Telegram channel. According to Didenko, such weather conditions are likely to occur on March 28-29.

"Starting next week, approximately from March 28-29, a cold air mass will enter Ukraine. Starting from the western regions, the air temperature will start to drop significantly and snow is even expected," he said.

According to the Gismeteo website, night frosts are forecast in a number of regions starting Tuesday, March 28. In particular, in the centre and west of Ukraine, it is expected to be down to -3 degrees, while during the day it will be +3...+6. Light snow is also expected.

 
 
 
 

Natalia Didenko also noted that warm weather is expected in Ukraine on Thursday, March 23. The maximum air temperature will be +12...+18 degrees, in the west up to +20 degrees in some places. Precipitation is not expected on this day - dry weather with partly cloudy skies will prevail everywhere.

In Kyiv, on March 23, it is expected to be +15...+17 degrees, without significant precipitation. By the end of the week, as well as over the weekend, warm air mass with occasional rains will prevail in Ukraine.
