The Facebook page "Mrs. Hinch's Cleaning Tips" advised using dishwasher tablets. They consist of a concentrated detergent and can destroy stubborn grease on oven racks.

You should take one or two dishwasher tablets, two cups of baking soda and some detergent.

The tablets should be crushed and dissolved in warm water (not too hot), add the baking soda and detergent. Next, the oven grates should be placed in a large sink or even a bathtub. The main thing is to give the mixture time to work. It is better to leave the grates soaked in the solution overnight. They should be completely covered with water.

The next morning, pour out the water and rinse the grids under the tap or shower. Use a sponge to remove stubborn stains.
