What to feed grapes in August: the harvest will break all records
Grapes have delicious and juicy berries that are good for our health. In order to collect an abundant harvest in the fall, you need to properly feed the plant in August.
The main thing is not to miss this moment and in time to treat grapes. OBOZREVATEL found effective ways that will help to cope with this.
Use natural fertilizers for feeding. This can be boric acid, ash (a mixture of unburned coal and ash) and cowdung.
Add 10 g of boric acid to 10 liters of water, stir well and spray the solution on the leaves of the plant. Such a remedy will improve the taste of berries and increase their size.
Ash is better to use after burning potato haulm or sunflower. Stir a glass of such a mixture in 10 liters of water and leave it for 24 hours. Then water the plant. This should be repeated every two weeks.
Cow dung is a unique fertilizer that contains many nutrients, such as nitrogen, phosphorus, potassium, calcium, zinc and more. Cow dung should be mixed with water in a ratio of one to four and left in a day. Then you can water the grapes with such a solution.
Use this method when the plant has a nitrogen deficiency. This can be determined if the leaves grow small, pale green color, and the bunches almost do not develop. Also OBOZREVATEL published other ways of feeding grapes. For this you will need nitrofoska - it is a mineral fertilizer containing nitrogen, phosphorus and potassium. It can be applied at any stage of the plant's growth. Add two tablespoons of nitrofoska to 10 liters of water and stir thoroughly. Then spray the grapes. By fall, the fruits will be juicy and abundant.
