Ukraine's football team wins a secret match in England
The national team of Ukraine beat the second team of the English football club Brentford. The match at the Ukrainians' training base in London (Wimbledon FC pitch) ended with a score of 2-0.
By agreement with both sides, the game was a secret one, with no broadcast and no media presence. Only representatives of the official delegations of the opponents and the families of Ukrainian players living abroad were able to watch the match.
All the Ukrainians who are in Rotan's squad took part in the match. The exceptions were Andriy Yarmolenko, who is recovering from an injury, and Sydorchuk (cold). Zinchenko and Trubin were not on the list either. The two of them were allowed to rest before the important match against England.
In the 22nd minute, after Malinowski's cross from the right flank, Svatok opened the scoring with a header.
In the second half, in the 65th minute, Sudakov doubled the lead with a long-range strike.
