Professional cleaner Vanessa Amaro shared what not to do when cleaning on her Instagram page. It only takes a few minutes to clean the necessary surfaces well.

According to the woman, the mistakes made by housewives are related to laziness. Thus, you may be tempted to wipe off dust only on visible surfaces and leave furniture and cabinets dusty.

It doesn't take long to wipe all the surfaces. Dust and dirt accumulate in hard-to-reach places and then have a negative impact on our health.

The same goes for how you vacuum. If you only clean the visible areas and leave out the nooks and crannies, it will be hard to get all the dirt and debris out. It may not seem like a big deal, but dirt accumulates quickly and can ruin furniture.

If you are helping friends or family clean their home, never open drawers. There may be things in there that others shouldn't see. Thus, clean those places on which the hosts have insisted only.
