They can't come up with their own. Russia has stolen Pixar's Cars cartoon and replaced it with Kopeyka: the characters will be voiced by Russian politicians

In Russia, the so-called process of import substitution is underway, the essence of which is that Russians simply steal products from the West they hate. This is what happened to the film industry. The animators of the terrorist country presented a cartoon called "Kopeyka", which is an exact copy of the cult Pixar story "Cars".
The stolen cartoon is being developed by Grom. The project was presented at a pitching at the Cinema Fund. This was reported by propaganda online resources.
As you might have guessed, the main characters of Kopeyka are cars from the domestic automotive industry. The plot will unfold in the automotive world, which is under threat. The characters, including Lada, Zhiguli and others, will drive around Russia, China and India.
Each character will represent different concerns that are supposed to invest in the cartoon. At the pitching, they said that "almost all companies agreed".
The Russian animators did not get too original with the main character either. In American Cars, it is a red sports car named Lightning McQueen. In Kopeyka, the protagonist will also be red, but it will not be a sports car, but a VAZ-2101.
The most epic thing is that Grom plans to involve Russian politicians in the voice acting. Representatives of the studio assure that they have already agreed on this with almost all of the Kremlin's henchmen, except for "one person with whom they have not yet spoken".
The network has even fantasised about what the car versions of famous Russian terrorists, including President Vladimir Putin and Defence Minister Sergei Shoigu, will look like.
Meanwhile, a completely logical rhetorical question is being asked online: "Do any original ideas ever slip through the cracks in Russia?"
Earlier, OBOZREVATEL wrote that a series about Princess Olga of Kyiv will be created by order of the Russian propaganda Channel One. The director is Russian Valeria Gai Germanica, who promised to "rethink the story" and tell it "in a new way".
