The heat will gradually begin to subside at the beginning of the new week. In addition, thunderstorm rains will return to many regions of our country.

The most noticeable cooling will be in the west, north and center of the country. This is reported by the Ukrainian Hydrometeorological Center.

Rains with thunderstorms will take place in the northwestern part of Ukraine on Monday, August 7. Forecasters predict precipitation in Zakarpattia, Chernivtsi, Ivano-Frankivsk, Ternopil, Lviv, Khmelnytsky, Rivne and Volyn regions.

Thundershowers are also expected in Zhytomyr, Kyiv, Chernihiv and Sumy regions. There will be variable cloudiness in other regions.

Thermometers will show +19...+22 degrees in the west of Ukraine during the day.  +27...+29 degrees are expected in the northern regions.

The strongest heat this day will be in the east of the country. Donetsk, Luhansk, Zaporizhzhia and Kharkiv regions will have up to 33-37 degrees Celsius.

Odesa, Mykolayiv, Kherson and Crimea will also be hot. It will be sunny and the thermometers will show +34.

Rainy weather will persist in western Ukraine on Tuesday, August 8. Precipitation will move to Vinnytsia, Cherkasy and Kropyvnytskyi from the northern regions. Rain with thunderstorms may also take place in Odesa.

The air temperature will continue to fall. However, the thermometers will still exceed +30 in some areas. The most noticeable cooling will come to the western and northern regions of the country.

The air temperature during the day will be +30...+33 degrees in the south and east of Ukraine.

Precipitation is not expected in Ukraine on Wednesday, August 9. Forecasters predict variable cloudiness in all regions.

Temperature indicators will not change significantly compared to the previous day. Thermometers will show +21...+25 degrees Celsius in western and northern regions. The same temperature is predicted in the central regions.

Hot weather will remain in the south and east of Ukraine, although the hot air will cool down a little. Odesa, Mykolayiv and Kherson regions during the day will have +28...+32 degrees. +30...+32 is predicted in the eastern regions.
