Sales statistics show that Ukrainians prefer affordable electric cars

The statistics of electric car sales in Ukraine by region have been published. It become known that motorists in our country prefer affordable models. The market leaders are well-known inexpensive electric cars.

Statistics on sales are given by the Ukravtoprom. Ukrainians bought more than 100,000 cars (new and used) in July 2023. About 3.5 thousand of them are electric vehicles.

Lviv, Kyiv and Dnipropetrovsk regions are the leaders. It is known how many electric cars were bought in a month in each region from the list.

Which regions have the biggest percentage of bought electric cars:

1. Lviv region - 470 pcs;
2. Kyiv - 458 pcs;
3. Dnipropetrovsk region - 286 pcs;
4. Kyiv region - 242 pcs;
5. Vinnytsia region - 214 pcs.

The most popular electric cars in Ukraine:

1. Kyiv - Volkswagen e-Golf;
2. Lviv region - Volkswagen e-Golf;
3. Dnipropetrovsk region - Nissan Leaf;
4. Vinnytsia region - Nissan Leaf;
5. Kyiv region - Tesla Model 3.

The most popular new electric car in Ukraine is a Volkswagen ID.4 crossover. It is not sold officialy here, but the car is actively imported from other countries, especially from China.
