Russian volunteers call Governor Gladkov for negotiations

Fighters of the Legion of Freedom of Russia and the Russian Volunteer Corps appealed to the governor of Belgorod Oblast, Vyacheslav Gladkov. They offered him to exchange two Russian prisoners for a few minutes of communication with him.

It is noteworthy that the volunteers offer to hold the conversation without weapons in the temple. This was reported by the Russian Freedom Legion Telegram channel (to see the video, scroll to the end of the page).

The Russian volunteers put forward conditions to Gladkov to come to the church in Novaya Tavolzhanka before 5 p. m. in order to talk to him and exchange two prisoners.

The fighters also said they intended to talk to the Belgorod governor about the fate of Russia's aggressor country, the war against Ukraine and the situation in the Belgorod region.

"If you show up at the church in Novaya Tavolzhanka before 5 p.m. today, we, as a gesture of goodwill, as they say in our homeland, will exchange these two prisoners simply for a chance to talk to you about the fate of Russia, the unnecessary bloody war that has been going on for a year and a half and now is also being conducted in your Belgorod region," the statement reads.

The statement also said that the Russian military prisoners would be released simply in exchange for talking to Gladkov.

"So today until 5 p.m. you have an opportunity to talk without weapons and take home two Russian citizens, ordinary soldiers who you and your political leadership sent to this massacre," representatives of the Legion of Freedom of Russia said.

As a reminder, Russian volunteers fighting on the side of Ukraine announced the entry of an advance assault group into the "suburb of Shebekino." They noted that the advance was being fought.

Earlier, the "Freedom of Russia" legion showed new videos of the fighting in the Belgorod region. Russian volunteers showed footage of the Russian Armed Forces concentrating manpower and equipment, and accused Russian troops of shelling civilian houses in the village of Novaya Tavolzhanka in the Shebekinsky district of the Belgorod region with heavy artillery.

As OBOZREVATEL reported, Russian propagandist Alexander Sladkov compared the city of Shebekino in Belgorod region to the Chechen city of Grozny, which the Russian occupation army destroyed in the 1990s. He also complained about looting by local residents.
