Rain with thunderstorms and gale-force winds: forecasters give weather forecast for Saturday, 24 June
On Saturday, 24 June, the weather in Ukraine will be mostly rainy, with variable cloudiness expected. Only the south of the country will be spared from bad weather today.
This is reported by the Ukrainian Hydrometeorological Center on Facebook (to see weather maps, scroll to the end of the page). So, there will be no precipitation in Mykolaiv, Odesa, Kherson and Zaporizhzhia regions. It will be dry in the Crimea.
In the western regions, forecasters forecast moderate rains with thunderstorms, hail and squalls of 15-20 m/s in places, with significant rains at night. In the rest of the regions, it will be raining in the afternoon, with thunderstorms in places, and wind gusts up to 15-20 meters per second.
Air temperature at night across Ukraine will range from 15 to 20 degrees Celsius. Daytime temperatures are expected to be 27 to 32 degrees Celsius, and in the western regions will be cooler - 19 to 24 degrees Celsius.
Kyiv region will hold overnight without precipitation, but short rains are expected during the day, with thunderstorms in places. Wind gusts of 15-20 m/s are possible.
Night temperature across the region will be 15-20 degrees, while during the day it will be 27-32 degrees. In Kyiv, the night temperature will be 17 to 19 degrees Celsius, while during the day it will be 28 to 30 degrees Celsius.
It should be noted that a warning has been issued in the western regions due to thunderstorms, hail and squalls of 15-20 m/s, as well as significant rainfall.
