Putin authorises forced deportation of Ukrainians from occupied territories

Russian dictator Vladimir Putin has signed amendments to the law "On martial law". They provide for the possibility of deporting people from the territories where the relevant status has been introduced, as well as holding elections.

This is stated in the decree published on the official portal of legal information of the Russian Federation. The amendments approved by Putin allow for "forced and controlled movement of citizens from the territory where martial law has been introduced to the territory where martial law has not been introduced".

In addition, referendums and elections to state and local government bodies may be held in these territories "following consultations with the federal executive body responsible for the development and implementation of state policy and regulatory and legal regulation in the field of defence, and the federal executive body".

Earlier, Putin also signed a decree to call up reservists for military training in 2023. Reservists are called up to join the Russian Armed Forces, the Russian Guard, state security agencies and the FSB.

"The Government of the Russian Federation and executive authorities of the constituent entities of the Russian Federation shall ensure the implementation of measures related to the call-up of Russian citizens in the reserve for military training and the conduct of these training sessions," the Russian dictator's decree reads.

As OBOZREVATEL previously reported, Putin has once again disgraced himself with a ludicrous statement about our country. He claimed that Ukraine did not exist in the Ukrainian SSR and became a laughingstock online.
