Orchids will delight you with gorgeous flowers: two fertilizers to strengthen the plant
An orchid is one of the most common ornamental plants chosen by owners to decorate their homes. The flower usually blooms every 8-12 months, but you need to provide favorable conditions for this.
OBOZ.UA has found tips to help strengthen the plant. Properly selected fertilizers will contribute to lush and bright flowering.
This fertilizer contains nitrogen, phosphorus, and potassium, which have a positive effect on the development of the orchid and strengthen its roots. You can prepare the solution yourself. You will need rice and water. Soak the cereal for 30 minutes, then strain the solution, pour it into a bottle or a jar, and leave it for one week.
Do not close the container too tightly as the liquid should "breathe". Keep the fertilizer out of direct sunlight.
Then add the same amount of water to the solution, mix everything and use a spray bottle to spray the leaves.
Banana peels are a nutritious fertilizer containing potassium, phosphorus, and calcium. You will need one peel. Finely chop it and soak it in water for 48 hours. Then mix the solution with water in a 1:4 ratio and water the orchid.
Alternatively, you can cut the banana peel into thin strips, dry it, and grind it into powder. Pour the mixture into the pot. This is also an effective fertilizer that will promote lush flowering.
