Don't forget to test any stain remover on an inconspicuous area of the fabric

If there are textiles in the house, there will be stains in the house, it's a rule. That's why clothes, furniture, carpets, towels, etc. need to be cleaned from stubborn dirt regularly. Of course, you can choose and buy a suitable product in the store, but they are usually not cheap. Instead, you can make a home stain remover from cheap improvised products.

OBOZREVATEL talks about such products based on hydrogen peroxide and soda ash. In any case, as with any other liquid for the same purpose, always test it on an inconspicuous area of the fabric before use.

Hydrogen peroxide solution

Take one tablespoon each of pharmacy-grade hydrogen peroxide, baking soda, and dishwashing liquid. Mix all the ingredients and bring them to a homogeneous state. Apply the resulting product to the stain, leave it for a few minutes, and then treat it thoroughly with a soft brush or sponge. Then wash the item as usual.

Soda ash and laundry soap

To make a stain remover, you will need

  • a bar of laundry soap
  • a liter of water
  • two tablespoons of soda ash

Grind the soap, for example, on a grater, and then dissolve it in a liter of water. Or you can buy ready-made liquid laundry soap. Next, add soda ash to the solution and dissolve it thoroughly. This product can be stored and used as needed. It can be applied to stains before washing or added to your regular detergent to enhance its effect.
