To do this, take a plastic bottle and cut off the top. Add four tablespoons of sugar, one tablespoon of honey, and 6.5 tablespoons or 85 g of water to the container. Then mix the ingredients together. After that, place the top half of the bottle upside down on the bottom half of the container.

The mixture can be left in the house or on the surface of the garden or outside. Flies smell the bait and fly into the bottle to either lay eggs or feed. Once inside, they are easily trapped, flying down the neck of the bottle. They can't get out because of the narrow opening and wet, sticky wings. That's why the method works instantly.
