Weather forecast in Ukraine for 21 June 2023.
On Wednesday, the 21st of June, the majority of regions in Ukraine will experience rainfall. Severe thunderstorms are expected in numerous areas.
This information has been provided by the Ukrainian Hydrometeorological Centre. Meteorologists are cautioning about a deterioration in the weather.
As per the forecasters, during Wednesday night, brief showers and thunderstorms are anticipated in certain parts of the northern, central, and eastern regions.
Throughout the day, forecasters also predict short-lived rain showers and thunderstorms across Ukraine. The exception will be in most of the western and northern regions, where dry weather will prevail. Fog is expected in the western parts of the country in the morning and at night.
Ukrainian residents are being warned about hazardous weather conditions. On 21st June, severe thunderstorms are expected in the central, eastern, and southern regions, and Zakarpattia during the afternoon. These regions have been issued a level I, yellow, alert for hazardous conditions.
On this day, the wind will be predominantly north-west, with a speed of 5-10 m/s.
The temperature at night will be +14...+19, in the western regions +10...+15. During the day, the air temperature will be +24...+29.
On 21 June, it will be the coldest in the Carpathians, where at night the thermometer will show +8...+13, and during the day +17...+22.
The maximum temperature on Wednesday will reach +29 degrees. Mercury will rise to this level in Zakarpattia, Kherson and Kirovohrad regions.
Partly cloudy weather is expected in Kyiv on 21 June, with no precipitation. At night, there will be short-term rain in some places. The temperature at night will be +16...+18, during the day +26...+28. In the region at night +14...+19, during the day +24...+28.
As OBOZREVATEL previously reported, weather forecasters predict that the height of summer will be very hot, without significant precipitation. June turned out to be quite variable, but Ukrainians are looking forward to a consistently dry season with temperatures 1-2 degrees above normal.
