Belarusian border guards clash with Wagner mercenaries

In the Gomel region of Belarus, there was a conflict between mercenaries of the Wagner PMC, who had been deported from Russia, and local border guards. As a result, the latter withdrew and did not "interfere" with the work of the Wagner people.

This was reported by the National Resistance Centre. It is noted that the clash occurred during the Russians' reconnaissance of the area near the village of Dyatlyk, near the border with Ukraine.

Citing reports from local guerrillas, the Centre also said that the arrangement of premises for the deployment of Wagner's advanced groups had begun near the town of Narovlya, Gomel region.

To recap, the terrorists of the Wagner PMC have started training the personnel of the Armed Forces of Belarus. In particular, Belarusian special forces are receiving military training from extradited criminals. In the area of Tsel-Osipovychi, 700 Wagnerites with weapons have already been deployed. Three Belarusian special forces units will be trained under their supervision.

On 18-19 July, six more columns of Wagner PMCs arrived in Belarus. In total, since 11 July, nine convoys have arrived, bringing the total number of mercenaries in the country to more than 2,500.

Only the fourth of the nine convoys had more than 80 vehicles, with the vehicles bearing the number plates of the terrorist "L/DPR".

As OBOZREVATEL previously reported:

- The European Parliament has called on the International Criminal Court in The Hague to issue an arrest warrant for self-proclaimed President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko. They stated that Minsk is responsible for the damage caused to Ukraine, including the role of the Lukashenko regime in the deportation of Ukrainian children;

- the founder of the Wagner PMC, Yevgeny Prigozhin, said that his mercenaries would help turn the Belarusian army into the "second army of the world". And if necessary, PMC fighters will "protect Belarusians".
