Exeed Sterra ES electric sedan is a new low-cost model of the Chery Chinese company. The car turned out to be large and will compete with Tesla Model S.

The novelty was reported on CarNewsChina. The new Exeed Sterra ES 2023 model year received a modern streamlined design, a smooth elongated silhouette, narrow headlights, a minimum of air intakes and a solid strip of taillights.

However, the Chery Exeed Sterra ES electric car is difficult to distinguish from other Chinese models in this segment. The PRC auto industry is very limited in working with trends, so even new cars in the electric car segment are similar to each other.

The body length of the Sterra ES is 4945 mm (wheelbase is 3000 mm), the width is 1978 mm, and the height is equal to 1480 mm. The manufacturer has prepared several modifications.

Electric sedans will be offered with motors with a capacity of 252, 313 and 480 hp. The most powerful variant will provide acceleration to 100 km/h in 3.8 seconds.

The claimed range is 720 km, according to the Chinese specification. This means the electric car will travel 400-450 km in reality. The price is less than 40 000 dollars for the base version, approximately twice as cheap as the Tesla Model S.
