Burnt and fragmented bodies: lists of more than 100 children killed by the occupiers in Mariupol published

The names of almost a hundred children from Mariupol killed by Russia have been revealed, and several dozen more have not even been identified. The mutilated bodies of the young victims of Russian aggression were taken to three morgues in the occupied Azov region, sometimes children died with their families.

Lists of murdered children registered by the occupiers from the morgues of Mariupol, Mangush and Novoazovsk were published by Petro Andriushchenko, an adviser to the mayor of Mariupol. The documents, which he called the "Mariupol Death List", record how Ukrainian children died in a terrible way - in fire or torn to pieces.

"The Mariupol death list. We received a list of killed children of Donetsk region in 2022 who were registered in the morgues of the occupied Donetsk region. These are probably not all children, but all those about whom the 'DPR' has data," Andriushchenko said.

The lists include more than a hundred Ukrainian children. The bodies were brought to the morgues in such a state that some of the young victims of Russia could not even be identified.

"Mariupol. 101 children. Only 87 were identified. They passed through three morgues - Mariupol, Mangush, Novoazovsk. A list of horror and death. It's hard to watch. You must know how many Ukrainian children were killed by Russians in Mariupol. I have no strength. There are whole families here. Three children born in 2005, 2021 and 2015. Even a baby less than a year old," stated the advisor to the mayor of Mariupol.

He drew attention to the gruesome details regarding the bodies of the children taken to the morgues. The wording of the forensic experts hides the circumstances of their horrific deaths.

"Child. T06.8 Explosive trauma, burns and destruction of the body". "Child. Destruction and burns". "Explosive trauma. Shrapnel wounds to the torso and extremities". "Explosive trauma, fragmentation of the body"... A total of 133 records for Donetsk region. 101 for Mariupol," Andriushchenko wrote.

He stressed that the lists will be checked and an investigation into the mass murder of Ukrainian children will be conducted. As well as retribution for their killers.

"Do you think you know something about hatred? The desire for revenge? Anger? Read the list. Three sheets of rage and horror. Each line is pain, pain, pain. What's next? Verification of our data and a large-scale investigation that will reveal where and when Ukrainian children were killed by Russian bombs. At least 101 of them have been identified and recognised by the occupiers," Andriushchenko said.

On 13 August, the Office of the Prosecutor General reported that since the beginning of the full-scale invasion, Russia has already killed 500 Ukrainian children. However, these figures are not final: little is known about how many young Ukrainians have been killed by Russia in the occupied territories of our country.

The true extent of the crime committed by the Russian Federation on Ukrainian soil will be established only after the de-occupation and victory of Ukraine.
