Ahead of Oppenheimer premiere, Nolan, Murphy and Downey Jr. showed how the movie was filmed and shared their impressions
Hollywood film studio Universal Pictures presented a small video in which the stars and the director of Oppenheimer shared their impressions and thoughts on the tape. On the eve of the premiere, the audience also opened the curtain and showed how the shooting of the long-awaited movie took place.
Christopher Nolan shared how important it was for him to pick a cast of talented actors, including: Cillian Murphy, Emily Blunt, Florence Pugh and Robert Downey Jr. A clip with Ukrainian dubbing appeared on YouTube (to see photos and video, scroll to the end of the page).
The director of the movie, who also acted as producer and screenwriter, admitted that for the first time in his life he wrote a script in the first person. According to Nolan, the actors experienced the main character's journey together.
"Killian as Oppenheimer is a quintessential part of the movie, but I knew he had to be surrounded by an amazing cast. In a story with so many different faces, each of the characters had to have a distinct personality and inspire confidence in the audience as they contemplate them from the big screens . So for this mission we were able to assemble a phenomenal cast," said the director.
Actors shared that to refuse to participate in such a project would be crazy. Cast was familiar with each other before and gladly accepted the offer to star in the tape together.
Robert Downey Jr. admitted that penetrated Oppenheimer and the vision of Nolan, as soon as familiarized with the script. According to "Iron Man", the tape turned out to be such a masterpiece, as he wanted to see it from the beginning.
Each of the stars shared his vision of the characters they had to play. Historical figures embodied by actors, caused them admiration, so everyone tried to play his role as best as possible. To see the result of efforts of world-famous actors and professional film team in Ukraine will be available on July 20.
