Stuffed eggs in a new way: an idea for an original and tasty filling
Stuffed eggs are an elementary yet versatile appetizer that is often prepared for holidays and added to the daily menu for variety. In addition to melted cheese, boiled vegetables, and tuna, eggs can be stuffed with mushrooms. This is a very tasty and original filling.
Food blogger Yana Lazarenko, with a nickname yanika.lazarenko, shared a recipe for stuffed eggs with mushroom filling on her Instagram page.
Ingredients:
- eggs - 7 pcs
- mushrooms - 100 g
- onion - 1 pc
- mayonnaise - 1,-2 tbsp
- salt, pepper
- green onions \ herbs (for decoration)
Method of preparation:
1. Boil the eggs hard-boiled until tender. When ready, cut them in half and separate from the yolks.
2. Mash the yolks with a fork.
3. Chop onions and mushrooms randomly. Fry in vegetable oil until tender. Season with salt and pepper.
4. Blend the cooked onions and mushrooms in a blender until smooth.
5. Mix the resulting mass with egg yolks, adding mayonnaise.
6. Fill the egg whites with the resulting filling.
7. Garnish with greens or green onions.
