Galushki is a very tasty and quick-to-make Ukrainian dish. They can be made from potatoes or ordinary dough on water, sour cream, or kefir. In addition, you can stuff them with mushrooms or meat, and serve them with a tasty topping and greens.
Food blogger Julia Simonchuk(cook_julija_simonchuk) on her Instagram page shared a recipe for potato galushki in a new way, for which the cook advises adding cottage cheese to the dough.

Ingredients:
- potatoes - 1 kg
- cottage cheese - 500 g
- eggs - 2 units
- flour - 1,5 tbsp
- salt, pepper
Method of cooking:
1. First you need to wash and boil the potatoes in their skins. When ready, leave them to cool a little and peel them hot.

Grate the peeled potatoes on a fine grater. Add the cottage cheese, eggs, salt and pepper, and mix until smooth.
3. Gradually add the flour and knead the dough.

4. Divide the dough into several pieces, roll each piece into a sausage, and cut into portions. Form each piece into a ball by making a small indentation inside with your finger.
5. Boil galushki in boiling salted water for 1-2 minutes.

6. Serve ready galushki with butter or cracklings and sprinkle with green onions.
