Pancakes on the water without kefir, milk, and eggs: what to add for an unsurpassed taste

At first glance, pancakes seem to be a familiar and ordinary dish. But they can also be made very sophisticated by adding interesting ingredients. In this case, the dish will even be dietary.

Food blogger Inna Levenets shared this version of the pancake recipe on her Instagram page. She suggests making this dish with peanut butter and maple syrup.

Diet pancakes with peanut butter and oat flour.

Ingredients for the dough:

  • 200 g of oat flour
  • 40 g of corn starch
  • 1/2 tsp of salt
  • 100 g of peanut butter
  • 120 g of maple syrup
  • 180 g of apple sauce
  • 1/2 cup of water
  • 50 g chocolate drops

Method of preparation:

1. Mix flour, starch and salt.

2. Add the syrup, apple sauce, peanut butter, pour in the water, and mix. If the dough is too thick, add more water. The result should be a dough with the consistency of sour cream. Add the chocolate drops to it.

3. Spoon the dough onto a preheated frying pan with vegetable oil, and fry on both sides for a minute and a half.

4. Serve the pancakes with vegetable yogurt and berries.
