Lazy puff cakes with buttercream in 15 minutes. What could be better when you are expecting unexpected guests?

The recipe for this wonderful dessert was shared by a food blogger with the nickname polli_cooking. On her Instagram, she shared what to add to the cream to make it incredibly tender.

Ingredients

  • Puff pastry - 450 gr
  • Mascarpone - 250 gr
  • Condensed milk - 120 g
  • Cream 33% - 200 ml

The way of preparation

1. Remove the dough from the package and defrost at room temperature.

2. Divide each layer into three equal pieces and place them on a parchment-lined baking sheet.

3. Place in a preheated 200-degree oven for 15-20 minutes. It should be heated on both sides and with convection. The dough should open well. Remove from the oven and cool.

4. While the dough is cooling, make the cream. Add condensed milk to the mascarpone and mix until smooth.

5. Whip the very cold cream until it is stiff. It is better to put the cream in the freezer for 10 minutes beforehand.

6. Transfer the cream to the curd mass and mix gently with a spatula until smooth.

7. Divide the dough into 2-3 layers, grease each layer with cream.

8. Sprinkle the cakes with powdered sugar.
