Grandma's cookies: how to make a delicious dessert for tea

Few people drink tea alone. Usually, everyone allows themselves a few goodies with it. It can be an ordinary purchased candy, or it can be the most delicious homemade cookies that remind you of your childhood.

Food blogger Hanna Pylypiuk shared a recipe for these cookies. She provided a detailed description of the ingredients on her Instagram.

Ingredients

  • Butter or margarine - 250 gr
  • Sugar - 150 gr
  • Vanilla sugar - 1 tsp
  • Eggs - 2 pcs
  • Baking powder - 1 tsp.
  • Flour - 500 g

Method of preparation

1. Mix butter or margarine with flour and baking powder. Add salt and start grinding into crumbs.

2. Make a well in the dough and beat the eggs into it, add vanilla and regular sugar. Knead the dough.

3. Wrap the dough in cling film and refrigerate for 30 minutes.

4. Sprinkle the surface with flour and roll out the dough.

5. Cut off the excess edges to form a square.

7. Fold the square of dough in half diagonally, and then in half again, and pinch the edges well.
