Cottage cheese donuts without yeast and baking: features of dough preparation
These doughnuts are a very simple and quick dessert to make in a hurry for tea. They are made based on a universal cottage cheese dough that does not require yeast. And the cottage cheese balls themselves can be simply fried on the stove. By the way, they can also be made with a filling: jam, jam, chocolate, cream, or condensed milk. Or just serve them with powdered sugar.
Food blogger Zhanna Bohatyrenko (bogatyrenko.zhanna) shared on her Instagram page a recipe for cottage cheese donuts made without yeast or baking.
Ingredients:
- cottage cheese – 600 g
- eggs – 3 pcs.
- sugar – 7-8 tbsp.
- flour – 300-320 g
- vanilla sugar – 1 pack
- salt – 0, 5 tsp
- soda slaked with vinegar –1 tsp.
- oil for frying
Method of preparation:
1. Add eggs to the cottage cheese and mix with a fork until smooth.
2. Add salt, sugar, vanilla sugar, and baking soda slaked with vinegar. Stir well.
3. Add the flour. Knead the dough. It will stick a little to your hands.
4. Grease your hands with vegetable oil and form small balls of dough.
5. Pour oil into a saucepan and bring to a boil. Drop the balls with a spoon and fry them until cooked.
6. Put on a towel or napkin to drain the oil. Sprinkle with powder.
