Coconut bar: a delicious dessert that can be eaten during Lent

Christians are currently in Lent. This means that there are prohibitions on eating a large variety of foods. But sometimes you want to eat something delicious, sweet in the morning with your coffee.

In such cases, recipes for preparing lean delicacies are perfect. One of them was shared on Instagram by food blogger Lisa Glinska.

Ingredients

  • Banana - 100 gr
  • Coconut flakes - 100 gr
  • Coconut oil - 40 gr
  • Peanut butter - 70 g
  • Coconut milk or water - 20 ml

The way of preparation

1.Heat the coconut oil until hot, add the banana and peanut butter. Blend until smooth.

2. If you see that the fat is separating from the total mass, add 20 ml of coconut milk or water.

3. Blend again until it becomes an emulsion. Add coconut flakes and mix.

4. Form the bars into 8x3 cm. But you can also make round candies.

5. Put the candies on a board covered with parchment and refrigerate for 5-6 hours.

6. Melt the chocolate in a water bath and cover the candies with it.
