Potato casserole with minced meat for lunch: a simple recipe for a hearty dish

Potato casserole is one of the most satisfying and delicious potato dishes that is very easy to prepare and can be an ideal option for a hearty lunch and dinner. Potatoes go very well with meat, vegetables, spices, and sauces, which will give the dish a new and bright flavor and make it soft.
Cook Olena shared on Instagram a recipe for a hearty casserole made with potatoes, minced meat, and a delicious sauce.
Ingredients:
- potatoes – 1 kg
- minced meat – 600 g
- onion – 1 pc.
- eggs – 2-3 pcs.
- salt and pepper to taste
For the sauce:
- sour cream 10% – 300 g
- tomato paste – 1 tbsp.
- garlic – 2 cloves.
- greens – to taste
- salt
Method of preparation:
1. Peel the potatoes, cut into slices.
2. Mix everything for the sauce.
3. Put a layer of potatoes in the baking dish, top with the sauce, then the minced chicken, and sprinkle with green onions. Make several layers until you run out of ingredients.
4. Pour the egg mixture over everything and bake in the oven for 50 minutes at 180 C, 30 minutes under the lid, foil, and the last 20 minutes without anything.
The dish will be delicious both hot and cold.
