Ukraine celebrates Father's Day every third Sunday in June. This year, the holiday falls on June 16.

Dad is an important person in the life of every child, and his involvement in upbringing should be no less than that of his mother. Today, OBOZ.UA has prepared a selection of Ukrainian celebrity fathers who prove by their own example that active participation in the lives of their children is possible even if they are popular, busy at work and constantly filming or touring.

Anatoliy Anatolich

The well-known Ukrainian TV presenter is the father of three children: two daughters, 13-year-old Alisa and 11-year-old Lolita, and a three-year-old son, Neil. Anatoliy takes an active part in the upbringing of his children, taking an interest in their views and interests.

"My love for children is the greatest manifestation of egoism. Because I love them. I don't ask their permission. Even if they were against it, I would still love them more than anything. I don't seem to be one of those parents who live only for their children, but I clearly realize that everything in my life revolves around them," the TV presenter wrote under one of his posts on Instagram.

Andriy Bednyakov

The Ukrainian actor and TV presenter has two children: 9-year-old Ksenia and 2-year-old Ostap. The star dad adores his children and often shares their photos on his social media page.

"I'm ready to finish your soup and take a bath after you! Waking up in bed with cookie crumbs under me and turning on cartoons instead of football (although no, that's too much). As long as I live, I will do everything to keep you safe," the happy dad wrote on Instagram.

Timur Miroshnichenko

The constant voice of the Eurovision Song Contest in Ukraine and a well-known TV presenter together with his wife Inna are raising three children: 5-year-old Mia, 4-year-old Mark, and 2-year-old Marcel, who was adopted by the couple in 2023.

Timur tells his fans a lot about his children and often shares photos and videos on his Instagram page. Due to his busy schedule, the TV presenter cannot devote as much time to his children as he would like, but when he has the opportunity, he willingly takes an active part in raising them.

He recently described a morning with his youngest son, "Inna went to a photo shoot in the morning, dropped Mia and Mark off at the kindergarten on the way, and I had the morning free. So I was left alone with Marcel (not for the first time, but it's extremely rare). I fed him and started making my breakfast. While I was preparing my eggs, Marcel quietly stole one of them. In a few minutes, the whole room was smeared. Okay, let's clean it up! While he was cleaning the room, Marcel broke a musical toy in Mia's room (you know, the one with snowflakes flying inside). The whole room is now covered in small sharp plastic splinters, greasy liquid, and these snowflakes. Ok, let's clean it up too! Now everything is cleaned up, and I'm on my way to work. This is the morning of a father and son. And here's the question: does he not want to be alone with me or does he want to be with me more often?"

Yuriy Horbunov

Another Ukrainian actor and TV presenter, Yuriy Horbunov, together with Kateryna Osadcha, are raising two sons: 7-year-old Ivan and 3-year-old Danylo. While both mom and dad are celebrities, parental responsibilities are definitely shared by both.

On Yuriy's page, you can see a lot of photos and videos of him and his sons playing, reading books, and traveling together.

Horbunov recently shared a photo with his eldest son, saying that he took him on a business trip, "I realized what a grown-up son I have, and we even raised some important men's topics! Especially about behavior! I asked him, 'Will you go again?' He replied, 'Now I can't go without you!' A valuable moment!" Yuriy commented.

Vitaliy Kozlovskyi

The Ukrainian singer and musician, who recently became a father, sincerely shares his new emotions of fatherhood, "Yesterday, Oscar smiled at me for the first time and said his first word, 'Awww!'. I'm writing and crying... What's wrong with me? I've become too sentimental," Vitaliy says.

The singer was by his wife's side during childbirth, and he considers this decision to be very right, "It's a great support for my wife at such an emotional and difficult moment, it's something that makes trust even greater and the relationship and respect for each other even stronger."
