"Bang!" Sean Penn confessed what he would do if he met Putin and explained how Russia's victory in the war would be the end of the United States

Sean Penn spoke about Ukrainians and presidents

American Oscar-winning actor and director Sean Penn gave a candid interview on the occasion of the television premiere of his film about Russia's war in Ukraine, Superpower, which took place in Germany. The famous filmmaker admitted what he would do if he met with Russian leader Vladimir Putin and explained how Russia's victory in the war would be the end of the United States.

According to him, US President Joe Biden currently lacks "the will, leadership and sacrifice that President Roosevelt had in World War II." This was reported by NV with reference to the German newspaper Bild.

Sean Penn said that his people need to learn from the unity of Ukrainians who have rallied in the face of threat. After talking to people in Ukraine, he realized the value of life as never before.

"I believe in the resilience of Ukrainians who are fighting for every bit of their territory, including Crimea. That is why we must not allow defeat in this war. This must not happen. Regardless of whether Democrats or Republicans are in power. If we lose this war, it could be the end of the United States. You know, I am a child of the Vietnam War. I grew up with its cruel and criminal images. So I have never believed that weapons lead to peace. But now we must give Ukraine everything we have to stop this war," said Sean Penn.

He also expressed his thoughts on the two leaders of hostile countries - Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky and Russian dictator Vladimir Putin. When asked what the director would do with the latter if he met him, he said: "Bang!" Obviously, Penn hinted at a swift execution of the war criminal.

At the same time, he spoke warmly about his meeting with Volodymyr Zelensky, to whom the American left his Oscar for safekeeping until the victory day.

"I am grateful that I was able to meet him. Apart from my parents and children, no one has ever touched me as much as he has," the director and friend of Ukraine recalled. By the way, earlier Sean Penn named a feature that distinguishes the President of Ukraine from others.

As OBOZ.UA wrote, the director knows Vladimir Putin personally. It happened back in 2001, when the filmmaker and his colleague Jack Nicholson came to Moscow for a film festival and stopped by Nikita Mikhalkov's summer residence.
