Misha Collins, star of the popular TV series Supernatural and ambassador of the UNITED24 charity initiative, visited Sumy region. Together with a unit of the State Emergency Service, he watched the demining of the territories where the Russian occupiers had been stationed.

The American actor was able to see with his own eyes the work of divers and meet search dogs. He posted photos and videos on his Instagram.

"Today I'm not far from the front in Ukraine," the actor wrote. He asked his followers to donate $24 each for a demining machine that will help bring life back to Ukrainian lands.

In addition, the American visited a destroyed school that had been targeted by an enemy "shahed". The unit that accompanied the guests was the first to arrive for search and rescue operations.

Misha Collins was accompanied by Darius Marder, an American director and author of the film The Sound of Metal. He showed footage from Ukraine and wrote a post of support.

"This is a powerful symbol of warning to Putin: Ukrainians do not lose hope. They will fight for freedom and sovereignty. We must help them win," the post reads.

Ukrainians have already thanked the world-famous stars for their courage and help.

As a reminder, Misha Collins marked his arrival in Kyiv with a photo taken against the backdrop of broken military equipment. Later, he showed a video of fallen Ukrainian soldiers who gave their lives for their country. The actor has almost 5 million followers.
