TV presenter Yevhen Synelnykov, who was held captive with his family for two weeks in Russian-occupied Bucha, Kyiv region, told about the most valuable things that the invaders stole from him. According to the co-author of the show "Heads and Tails," the military of the aggressor country stole many archival materials with videos of Ukrainian cities before the large-scale changes and, consequently, the war.

The 43-year-old producer said this in an interview on the YouTube channel Lux FM. He noted that, unfortunately, this unique footage can no longer be restored.

"The most valuable things were taken from the office. It's not even equipment, cameras, or optics, but materials. There was an archive of the changes in Ukraine that had taken place over 10 years. You know, we had Chernihiv before the "hundred-meter" was built in the center, that is, the old city. We had Mariupol, Soledar, and Siverskodonetsk filmed from the point of view of a tourist. Unfortunately, this is gone," the host said.

According to Yevhen Synelnykov, after the Russians stole property, it is easy to buy new equipment, but it is no longer possible to restore materials. The producer said that their team managed to track one of the stolen phones using geolocation. It was taken to Russia.

"One laptop was just returned. Our Armed Forces wrote to me on Instagram that they were liberating Hostomel and there was one laptop left there. They opened it, saw my photos, and decided that it was mine. So they returned it," the host noted.
