Ukrainian singer wins "Spain's Got Talent" with a standing ovation. Video
Ukrainian singer Natalia Stepanska won the 10th season of Spain's Got Talent. She performed the song We are the champions by the cult band Queen. However, the artist's performance was unusual - in the style of an opera.
After the performance, the audience gave her a standing ovation. According to the local Marca newspaper, Natalia Stepanska was one of the three favorites among the audience. The list also included the urban dance group Chibi Unity and the world beatboxing winners Sarukani.
The jury was responsible for determining the winner. They chose a Ukrainian girl. She was also the host's favorite.
"I have no words. I don't know what happened. Thank you from the bottom of my heart. This is incredible. I think I'm dreaming. I will remember this all my life, thank you," the singer shared her impressions.
Her performance was also highly appreciated by one of the jury members, Risto Mejide: "Why did you stop applauding... It's the first time I've seen a lyrical singing act win 'Spain's Got Talent' and I'm happy. What a great number, thank you."
He later added: "I will tell you one thing. First of all, congratulations, but look at what you're saying, and this is very important... There are no impossible dreams. You can always realize them."
After Natalia Stepanska was announced as the winner, her closest people contacted her to congratulate her on her new acquisition. Among them was the singer's cousin, who spoke Ukrainian.
