Ukrainian designed sneakers for Nike dedicated to the world's largest aircraft - AN 225 Mriya

Ukrainian develops sneaker design for Nike dedicated to Mriya aircraft

Kyiv-based artist and designer Danya Shulipa has created a Nike sneaker design concept dedicated to the world's largest cargo plane, the Ukrainian Mriya. Netizens have already admired the patriotic footwear and expressed hope that the sports brand will seriously consider the Ukrainian's idea.

The author named the model of white sneakers with blue and yellow inserts Nike Air Force 1 AN 225 Mriya. He shared the relevant illustrations on his personal Twitter page.

"A concept of sneakers inspired by an aeroplane that needs no introduction," Shulipa laconically signed his work.

The designer replaced the word "Nike" next to the famous checkmark logo with "Mriya". He also came up with a slogan for his exclusive model: "The biggest. The most powerful".

"Make a petition to the president", "I need these shoes urgently! Does anyone know how to call Nike?", "I didn't understand at first and went to look for these sneakers online to order them", "This is gorgeous", "I already want them", - commenters left under the images.

The head of the Office of the President of Ukraine, Andriy Yermak, also took an interest in the sneakers dedicated to AN-225. On his personal Twitter page, he noted the official account of the sports brand and suggested that its representatives pay attention to Ukrainian design.

As OBOZREVATEL previously reported, on the occasion of Ukraine's Independence Day, Ukrainian sculptor Mykyta Zigura created an 80-metre-long shadow of the legendary Mriya aircraft in a wheat field in Denmark. This means that the AN-225 can now be seen even from space.
