TVORCHI went to Eurovision in Liverpool by train
The winners of the national selection for the Eurovision Song Contest 2023, TVORCHI, who will represent Ukraine at the song contest on May 13, have left for Liverpool. The stars and their team were seen off at the Kyiv railway station.
The artists' first stop is the Polish city of Chełm. This was reported in the Telegram channel of Ukrzaliznytsia (to see the photo, scroll to the bottom of the page).
"The TVORCHI band, which will represent Ukraine at this year's Eurovision Song Contest, left last night by the Kyiv-Chełm train (codenamed TVORCHI EXPRESS) for Liverpool, where the largest annual song show begins in a few days," the message reads.
The route of the Ukrainians "TVORCHI - Eurovision" was solemnly written on the board. As the train departed, the duo's song, which they will perform in the final, was played.
The stars were accompanied by their fans, who were happy to take pictures with them. They also held a spontaneous autograph session.
On May 5, TVORCHI will have its first rehearsal in Liverpool. Before the grand final, the artists will give interviews, take part in various musical events, and on May 13, they will represent Ukraine at the competition. In March, it became known what number the stars would perform under.
The artists travelled to the UK with the English-language song Heart of Steel, written under the influence of the war. According to the performers, they were inspired to create the song by the resilience of Azovstal's defenders. Ukraine will automatically qualify for the final as the winning country.
