"This is neither an action movie nor a comedy": critics have torn apart the movie with Cameron Diaz, which they have been waiting for 10 years

However, the critics explained that this does not mean that the film's main characters' lines were funny or logical. And the Observer review said that it was hard to tell whether it was an action movie, a comedy or a family movie.

"It was for movies like Back in Action that the word 'mediocre' was coined. It's not that this movie is bad," says The Wrap review, "It's not interesting enough to be bad. It just is."
