"They are financed by the Armed Forces of Ukraine": In Russia, a new hoax has been concocted about Vaikule, Meladze, and other celebrities who are against the war

Russians have invented an absurd piece of news, claiming that artists who are against the war are financed by the Armed Forces of Ukraine

Propagandists have concocted new absurdities regarding the concert activities of artists who have condemned Russia's invasion of Ukraine or have left Russia. Specifically, they mentioned Laima Vaikule, Valerii Meladze, Sofia Rotaru, Verka Serdiuchka, and others.

This information surfaced on a YouTube show focusing on Russian stars. The channel's author emphasizes that his videos reveal "the real faces of anti-heroes" currently residing abroad.

In the video, they claim that all these "relocants" operate based on "Western methods" and imply that no one outside the Russian Federation seems to have any use for them. However, the utmost absurdity lies in the core "news" - the concerts of such artists are allegedly "financed by the Armed Forces of Ukraine" for a particularly interesting purpose. The propagandists assert, "They travel around Europe, collect money, and some of it funds the Armed Forces of Ukraine. Money is laundered through them in this way."

Earlier, OBOZ.UA told how Sofia Rotaru "dumped" Russian oligarchs: they were ready to pay millions.
