The winners of the BRIT Awards 2025, the British equivalent of the Grammys, have been announced

The BRIT Awards 2025, often referred to as the local equivalent of the Grammys, has recognized the best performers, albums, and songs of the year. This grand event, organized by the British Phonographic Industry (BPI), took place on March 1 at the iconic O2 arena in London.

This year's nominations and winners covered various genres and generations of artists. The absolute favorite was Charli XCX, who led in five categories, including Song of the Year and British Album of the Year. She was competing with such names as Dua Lipa, Ezra Collective and The Last Dinner Party, who also had a significant number of nominations. The full list of winners was shared by The Guardians.

An interesting event was the return of legends: The Beatles received their first nomination in more than 40 years, and The Cure - in more than 30 years. This proves that British music not only creates new stars but also preserves the legacy of cult bands.
