Fans of the royal family have discovered another possible sign of editing in a recent photo of the Welsh couple. The photo shows Prince William and Kate Middleton leaving Windsor Castle.

The brick behind the car does not match the color of the one seen through the car window, Page Six writes. The discovery quickly sparked a discussion on the social network X (Twitter).

"Didn't anyone else notice that the last photo of Kate Middleton in the car... the bricks in the car windows don't match the bricks outside the car... It's another photoshopped photo," one user speculated.

"The bricks in the picture in the window have new, evenly distributed layers of mortar, while the bricks on the outside of the car are from an old building where the mortar is uneven and worn," added another.

A third user suggested that the image was taken on Christmas Day 2023, the last time Middleton was seen before abdominal surgery in January: "They used a Christmas photo. They erased her earring, the brim of her hat can be clearly seen... then they added some noise to make it harder to tell the changes," he wrote.

However, Jim Bennett, the freelance photographer who took the photo, told Page Six that his agency does not "alter photos in Photoshop, other than adjusting light levels if necessary." Bennett added that the car's images are not always clear and may contain reflections of other objects on the windows.
