"The Battle for the Light": Boris Johnson wears symbolic T-shirt to support Ukraine on the 1001st day of the great war

Former British Prime Minister Boris Johnson supported Ukraine on the 1001st day of the Great War. The 60-year-old politician wore a T-shirt with a symbolic inscription "Battle for Light".

The statesman shared the photo on his page on the social network X. He appeared in front of the camera wearing an outfit from the limited collection of the domestic brand DAMIRLI, created to support power engineers, air defense forces and rescuers of the State Emergency Service.

"On the 1001st day of this war, the main struggle remains the same. It is the struggle between the great Ukrainian ideals of freedom, democracy and independence on the one hand and the brutal and criminal aggression of Vladimir Putin on the other. I am proud to wear this T-shirt with Kyiv design. Glory to Ukraine," the politician wrote.

The symbolic phrase on the T-shirt is very relevant for Ukraine at the moment. After Russia's massive strikes on our energy sector, large-scale blackouts began across the country. Domestic specialists are forced to fight every day to ensure that Ukrainians' homes have electricity.

This is not the first time Boris Johnson has demonstrated his support for Ukraine. Shortly after the start of the full-scale war, he addressed the citizens of our country in a nightingale-like voice and noted that he could not even imagine what we are feeling now, because everything we love has been destroyed by the aggressor country Russia. The friend of Ukraine has repeatedly visited our homeland, and in the international arena he has insisted on increased assistance.

It is worth noting that today, November 20, the Russians have once again shown their "true colors," and the US Embassy in Kyiv has warned of the possibility of a powerful missile strike on Ukraine, citing "specific information about a potential significant air attack." As a precautionary measure, the diplomatic mission will be closed. Subsequently, the embassies of Spain, Italy, and Greece made similar decisions.

For their part, OBOZ.UA's sources in the Defense Forces noted that the loud statements of US representatives are more of a "specific reaction of our Western partners to the intimidation of Russian propaganda" that promised a "response" from Russia to Biden's decision to lift restrictions on the use of ATACMS.
