In China, a 31-year-old singer died during a concert in a retirement home in Chongqing. She tripped over her long dress and fell, fatally hitting her head. The incident happened on April 12, but it has only just become known.

The vocalist, who has not been named, was invited to congratulate her 90-year-old grandmother, The Mirror reports. She managed to perform only two songs, after which she fell along with shocked shouts from the audience.

During the fall, the singer hit her head and remained lying on the stage without moving. Excited people ran up to the artist and tried to resuscitate her on their own. Unfortunately, doctors could only pronounce her dead.

The video, which was leaked, shows up to 10 people standing over the singer, and a woman trying to start her heart by compressing her chest. The excited voices of the crowd can be heard.

The singer said she was not feeling well before the show, but went on stage anyway. Media reports say that an autopsy will be conducted to determine the exact cause of death.
