Mark Hamill showed up in a unique vyshyvanka and called to help Ukraine

The famous American actor, performer of Luke Skywalker in the cult "Star Wars" Mark Hamill showed up in a Ukrainian vyshivanka. The celebrity wore a unique shirt, which was presented to him by the representatives of the United24 fundraising platform, the Ambassador of which he is, as well as by the masters of the famous Ukrainian brand ETNODIM.

There are only two such embroideries in the world. One is Hamill's, and the other is impossible to buy, but you can get it for donations to help Ukraine. That's what the actor urged his fans to do on Twitter.

The embroidered shirt is a light gray shade with white ornaments and is called "Prometheus," as Hamill tries to bring light into the lives of Ukrainians. On the shirt you can see not only classic geometric patterns, but also embroidered Jedi swords, which "will remind that the force is always with the owner of this embroidered shirt.

Such a gift Ukrainians made to the actor on the Day of Vyshyvanka, which was celebrated in 2023 on May 18. Other United24 ambassadors also received unique vyshyvankas.

"This custom embroidered vest with embroidered Jedi swords is a gift from United24. There are only two of them! Want a chance to win a second one? Just donate $24 or more to help rebuild a school in the village of Buzova, Ukraine. Let's do it together!" - appealed to fans "Luke Skywalker."

As a reminder, back in October, Mark Hamill posted a landmark tweet after becoming an ambassador for the fundraising platform United24. The movie star timed his post to coincide with the fact that he would help raise money to buy drones for the Ukrainian army.

Hamill also became the voice of the English version of the app "Air Alert." He voiced five types of danger: missile attack, shelling, street fighting, radiation and chemical threats.

And recently the actor made a video call with Ukrainian defenders. He thanked them for their tireless fight and assured them that the world will help and support Ukraine as long as necessary.

As OBOZREVATEL wrote, three weeks after launching a campaign in support of Ukraine, Hamill managed to raise funds for 500 drones for our army.
