Despite the terrorist war, life goes on, and Ukrainian stars who are expecting new additions to their families are a good example of this. In particular, 40-year-old singer Jamala, who will become a mother of many children in 2024, is carrying a son under her heart, and 37-year-old TV presenter Ivanna Onufriychuk pleased her fans with the news of her upcoming first child on April 10.

At least, Jah hinted that she was expecting a son when she quoted lines from Taras Shevchenko's poetry: "And there will be a son, and there will be a mother."

Ivanna Onufriichuk

The Dancing with the Stars host announced her pregnancy on April 10. The 37-year-old star is expecting her first child with her husband Almaz, with whom she currently lives in Switzerland. The couple has been carefully preparing for this important step, and now Ivanna is enjoying every moment of her special state and trying to finish all the work before the birth.

"My husband and I are incredibly happy because it was our dream to become parents. Even now, even though the baby hasn't been born yet, I feel a close connection with her. Even before the baby started moving, I was talking to her, consciously establishing a connection. My beloved also talks to the baby," the future star mom shared.

Nataliia Tatarintseva and Zhenia Kot

Ukrainian choreographer Zhenia Kot and his athlete wife, the winner of the half-dance competition Nataliia Tatarintseva, are also expecting their first child. This is a special joy for the couple, as they have been trying to get pregnant for many years. Moreover, the couple was diagnosed with infertility.

In an interview with OBOZ.UA, Yevhen Kot said: "Nataliia told me about it by phone, via video. To be honest, she was shocked to learn about the pregnancy. And I, what can I say, screamed with joy. We had wanted this for a long time. We tried, then we didn't, then we tried again, we tried all possible options, we didn't despair. We were diagnosed with infertility... But we believed that our plans would come true."

Dasha Yevtukh

The blogger and participant in the 11th season of MasterChef (STB) is also preparing to become a mother for the first time in 2024. She got married in August last year, and in January of this year, she announced the good news. The influencer surprised her husband with a box of sweets and hid a two-strip pregnancy test at the bottom.

Max Chmerkovskyi and Peta Margatroyd

The famous Ukrainian-American choreographer Max Chmerkovskyi, who was the main character of the first season of "The Bachelor", is also preparing to become a father for the third time. His wife, also a dancer, Peta Margatroyd, became pregnant 4 months after her second childbirth and was quick to share the news with her beloved on FaceTime. She had recently suffered a miscarriage, so she was very happy to hear about her third pregnancy, as was her Ukrainian star husband.

"Yes, we know, we just had a baby. It was very unexpected (4 months after giving birth to Rio), but we are so happy and ready to become a family of 5 soon!" Peta shared with her followers.
