American singer Britney Spears has caused concern among fans after the star was photographed leaving the famous Chateau Marmont hotel in Hollywood. The 42-year-old singer was spotted late in the evening on May 1.

According to eyewitnesses, an ambulance arrived at the luxury complex, so Spears' fans speculate that she could have called for medical help, ET reports. Rumors are circulating in the media that the singer had a fight with her boyfriend, former domestic worker Paul Richard Solis.

The paparazzi photo shows Britney walking barefoot, wrapped in a brown blanket and holding a pillow. The artist is wearing short white shorts. The pop star did not go to the ambulance that was called to the hotel, but Spears' friend was talking to paramedics. Photos can be viewed here.

According to insiders, the ambulance workers arrived because of a request to help a wounded adult woman. It is not yet known whether the paramedics met the wounded woman and offered her any medical assistance.

It is worth noting that the pop star's chosen one has a controversial past – Soliz was previously prosecuted. The tabloids claim that the couple had an argument, and Britney, in turn, "screamed and lost control of her emotions." Spears' friends are concerned about her relationship with her husband, one of them saying that "this affair was a bad idea from the start."

The next day, on May 2, the singer published an Instagram post in which she seemed to be trying to refute reports of her whereabouts the previous night. She later deleted the post. "Just so people know... the news is fake!!!" the post read, "I would like respect at this time, so people understand that I am getting stronger every day!"

A couple of hours after deleting her post, Spears took to Instagram and added that she "twisted my ankle last night and paramedics showed up at her door illegally." Later, the singer shared details of her injury, showing off her injured leg and accusing her mother, Lynn Spears, of involvement in the events before and after the ambulance call.

"Last night I really twisted my ankle," she says in the video, "I know my mom was involved!!! I haven't spoken to her in 6 months, and she called me right after it happened before the news was made public!!!"
