Ruslana will perform at the Eurovision Song Contest: Media reported on a special mission

Singer Ruslana will perform at the Eurovision Song Contest 2023, which will take place in Liverpool this year. The singer, who brought Ukraine its first victory at this song contest, will have a special mission.

Thus, all the winners will take part in this year's Eurovision Song Contest. This was reported by NV.

According to the creative producer of the contest, Herman Nenov, Ruslana will perform in the final of the contest live from the capital, where she will have a special mission.

Earlier it was reported that Tina Karol, Verka Serdyuchka and other artists from last year's shows will perform at the Eurovision Song Contest 2023. This list, as well as the list of opening acts, did not include Ruslana, the 2004 winner. Back then, she won with her incendiary hit "Wild Dances" and brought Ukraine the first ever statuette from the prestigious song contest.

Ruslana did not remain silent on this occasion. She told her followers that she had not been invited to perform on the show. The singer, as she said herself, is involved in additional events within the framework of the Eurovision Song Contest, but she will not be seen on stage at the opening, semi-finals and final.

However, representatives of Suspilne assured that Ruslana is on the programme, and she and her team are aware of this. The organisers announced that information about the involvement of certain artists in the show is confidential, but at the same time, they immediately revealed that Ruslana was going to be invited to perform in the final.

The International Eurovision Song Contest 2023 will be held in Liverpool on behalf of Ukraine on 9 and 11 May (first and second semi-finals) and 13 May (grand final). 37 countries will take part in the event. Ukraine will be represented by TVORCHI with the song Heart of Steal. The band will perform in the grand final at number 19.
