Quentin Tarantino has pointed to Alec Baldwin's partial guilt in the death of a Ukrainian woman on the set of Rust: but there are a lot of buts
American director Quentin Tarantino has stunned fans with a loud statement. The 61-year-old man claims that actor Alec Baldwin is partly to blame for the death of Ukrainian cameraman Galina Hutchins on the set of the movie "Rust".
According to the celebrity, undoubtedly, the main responsibility lies with the gunsmith Hannah Gutierrez-Reed, who loaded the gun with live ammunition. However, he believes the famous entertainer should have independently verified that the gun was safe for use, the Daily Mail reports.
"In this situation, I think it's fair enough to say that the gunsmith - the person in charge of the weapon - is 90% responsible for everything that happens when it comes to that weapon.... but, but, but, but... the actor bears 10% of the responsibility," the director opined.
Quentin Tarantino noted: convinced that every entertainer should personally check the firearms appearing in the frame, because if an accident occurs, the celebrity will become partially responsible for the incident.
Recall, 42-year-old cameraman Galina Hutchins died on the set of "Rust" on October 21, 2021, receiving a through wound in the chest. The Ukrainian took her life because of Alec Baldwin, who inadvertently fired a weapon loaded with live ammunition. Despite the fact that the actor tried with all his might to prove: did not pull the trigger, the FBI denied this information and put forward the celebrity criminal responsibility.
In April 2023, due to the lack of sufficient evidence from Alec Baldwin were dropped charges of involuntary manslaughter, and the shooting of the scandalous tape continued.
