"Putin Causes Global Catastrophe": Ruslana showed archival photos of the Kakhovka hydroelectric plant before it was blown up

The star petted the network with archive photos

Popular singer and the first winner of Eurovision from Ukraine Ruslana emotionally reacted to the bombing of the Kakhovka hydroelectric power plant by the Russians on June 6. As it turned out, in 2019 she participated in the filming of a film about clean energy, which was held on the territory of the hydroelectric power plant. Now this footage is just a memory.

The performer posted the clip on Instagram. She showed how powerful the hydroelectric plant was, saw it from the middle and even danced on the roof of the building. The star noted that Russia and its ruler Putin can only bring destruction. The artist called on international organizations to help Ukraine (to see photos and video, scroll to the end of the page) .

"This is yet another demonstration of how Russia and Putin cause disasters on a global scale! I call on the international community to help evacuate civilians and provide all necessary assistance to minimize the number of people affected by this act of terror. I cannot stress enough how devastating a flood of this magnitude can be," Ruslana wrote on her personal blog.

The celebrity recalled the Carpathian flood of 2008 and stressed that now every minute can be decisive. According to her, international organizations must put aside their secondary issues and pay full attention to the ecocide committed by Russia.

"In 2019, an episode of a film about clean energy was filmed at the Kakhovka HPP. And now this footage is just archival footage..." - Ruslana finished her post.

Recently, OBOZREVATEL showed the reaction of Ukrainian stars to the bombing of the Kakhovka HPP. The celebrities were outraged by the Russians' crime, noting that they have nothing sacred. The artists stressed that our "neighbors" can only destroy, kill, and rape.
