Princess Charlotte is very similar to Princess Diana
The brother of the late Princess Diana, Charles Spencer, shared an archive photo from his childhood. In it, he poses with his mother and sister. Fans immediately noticed how much little Lady Dee resembles Princess Charlotte, the daughter of the future King of Great Britain, William, and his wife, Kate Middleton.
Princess Diana and her granddaughter, whom she never got to see due to her tragic death in a car accident in 1997, are often compared online. Thus, the photo of Cherlse Spencer posted on Instagram became an occasion for fans of the royal family to once again state that Prince William's mother and daughter are like two peas in a pod.
In the photo from 1967, little Diana Spencer poses in a white linen top and shorts, with flip-flops on her feet, and her short hair with bangs charmingly frames her smiling face. Next to her, her brother posed on a swing in a checkered polo shirt and shorts with socks and sandals.
Frances Kidd, a mother of two who was 31 years old at the time, can also be seen in the black-and-white photo. Presumably, the picture was taken on the grounds of Princess Diana's childhood home, the Althorp Estate in West Northamptonshire.
Earl Charles Spencer left in the description: "My mother, Diana and I, around 1967. I was three years old and Diana was 5 or 6. I love how happy we each look. At this stage of my life, my mom gave me the nickname "Buzz" because she saw in me the endless energy of a rather happy and busy bee."
Meanwhile, commenters flooded the post with comments about the similarities between Diana and Charlotte. Many sadly reflected that the "queen of hearts" would have been a wonderful grandmother to her grandchildren, but unfortunately, she passed away unfairly early.
It's worth noting that Charles Spencer regularly delights netizens with archival photos of his older sister. Not so long ago, the Earl shared a picture of little Diana in a pink and white guipure dress and Mary-Jane shoes hugging him.
