Pelykh died, Nelipa joined the Armed Forces, and Yegorova and Kot betrayed Ukraine: what happened to the TV stars of the 2000s
Nelipa, Yuriy Kot, Yegorova, Pelykh, Grubych - names that were heard on Ukrainian television screens at the beginning of the millennium. They all shaped the face of Ukrainian television at that time.
Famous showman Anatoliy Anatolich spoke about the fates of TV presenters of the 2000s, whose programs were watched by a generation of Ukrainian viewers. The blogger revealed the details of the celebrities' lives on his YouTube channel Ze Interviewer.
Max Nelipa
Host Max Nelipa became famous thanks to the program "Who's There?", before becoming a star of KVN. Later, he could be seen on the show "People's Star" together with Snizhana Yegorova. "For almost 10 years, Max fell out of the top hosts' circle, although he was actively involved in corporate events and various events," says the author of the video, "until he suddenly appeared on the Dizel Show.
At the beginning of the full-scale invasion, Nelipa joined the ranks of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. Now the host is defending the country at the front.
Snizhana Yegorova
Snizhana Yegorova, the host of the hit TV show Khmarochos, has taken an anti-Ukrainian stance. Three days before February 24, 2022, the star wrote a post in support of Russian dictator Putin. Yegorova, who is from Nova Kakhovka, Kherson region, believes that her hometown has been "liberated from Ukrainian Nazis." The Putinist now lives in Turkey with her children. In addition, the TV presenter disowned her eldest daughter Stasia Rovinskaya, who has opposing views and supports Ukraine.
Andriy Domansky
"At one time I hosted almost all the shows on television. I hosted Rise on Novy, Who's Up Against the Blondes, Star Factory, The Voice, Intuition, and a bunch of other things. But then the Revolution of Dignity happened," Anatoliy Anatolich says. Then, according to Ze Interviewer, the presenter's career went downhill. Domansky moved to the Inter TV channel and showed his pro-Russian position.
Since the beginning of the full-scale war, Domansky has been "lying low". Like a father with many children, he went abroad, where he remained, deleting his account from social media.
Yuriy Kot
Yuriy Kot, a brand ambassador for Inter TV channel, used to host the National Lottery, the show Everything for You, and even participated in the Patriot Game. However, in February 2014, the presenter found himself in Russia, where he became the star of propaganda TV programs. It is worth noting that Kot is from Zhytomyr, but this did not affect his pro-Russian position.
Hennadiy Popenko
The well-known TV presenter hosted street shows, as well as "Rise" on the New Channel, along with Freimuth, Pedan and Prytula. Later, Popenko started acting in TV shows and performing in theater. In June 2022, the celebrity took the oath of allegiance and joined the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
Vlad Ryashyn
Vlad Ryashin was the host of the Melodrama program. "But his main activity is actually his role as a producer and the creation of StarMedia," the video says. Ryashin is a producer of 500 feature films, TV series, cartoons, documentaries, TV programs and musicals, most of which are Russian. Currently, the traitor lives and works in Russia.
Ihor Pelykh
The legendary Ihor Pelykh started his career at the Ternopil Regional State Radio Company, becoming popular for his interactive show Not All at Home.
